I'm specialized in gastronomy, especially Italian food and wine. I have studied and worked nine months in Italy, I have lived 1.5 years in Portugal and six months in the United States.
Education
I have an MA degree in Literary Studies. I have also studied Italian (I will get my BA within a few months) and Dutch. I have studied six months at the University of Pisa, Italy.
Experience
I have worked two years part-time as an in-house translator for an Italian company in the Netherlands which imports alimentary products from Italy. I translated ingredients, catalogues, recipes, texts for the website, but also contracts and other sorts of texts. Being a freelance translator for the past two years, I also work in other fields than gastronomy; I translate technical manuals of machines, and texts about tourism and fashion.
